How do voice auditions work?

You note me/im me/email me on which characters voice you'd like to work on, or what voices in certain species/ranges are available (ranges as in voice range, male or female, etc) We spend a while figuring out the perfect character to try out for, then when its done i go away to write. I write a short script (not really but inbetween) entry that has your lines, and you need to read with enough emotion and character put into it. Im looking for is Skill: those who are able to read clearly, and put their voice into the character and make it come to life. Then comes Voice: Do they sound how the character would? Do they make it seem like they really should be this character?

Dont worry, its not as tough as it sounds heheh. To do voices and the tryout however, you need a decent computer mic and a quiet room. Were not gonna except anyone who always has a party of buffalo going on in the background ;3

(: I'd love to do some stuff for you. I just finished a class in storyboarding and I know the stuff pretty well, plus I've got some skills with viedo/audio mixing on the computer (had a class in that too and I always help out friend with their work) I did the voice over for a few finals too for the female parts. Pluuuus I can easily tweak the sounds to fit characters.

Id love it if you could. Well, so far I havnt updated anything new, mainly because the project is on hold because of empty spots, school, not much interest/aid. If not much interests shows, then it would be downgraded to a graphic novel instead of an animatic. Would you still be interested if so?

I'd just love knowing what kind of commitment is required, cause I, just like many other people who are interested in taking part of the project, have our own private lives and projects and might not be 24/7 dedicated to the project. Well then again I'm sure you're well aware of that. But with this pointed out I'd like to know, imagining the project was taking place presently, how often would character designs be requested and how long would we have to present our concepts? I'm asking specifically about character design cause that's the part I'm interested in helping out.
Well the main thing about my interest on this project is to put me back to drawing cause I've been pretty much into sketches lately, and I think working as a team would help me gain some experience on a more professional future I hope I get into.
I think you should keep spreading it. Make another News with more updates. Gather up the people who already showd interest and present the list or somethin. Maybe that'll get more people's attention.
If I find spirit for it I might make another poster for you guys. I need assignments! or I'll lose myself in a see of laziness 8)

Well, its mainly made for learning artists, or those who love the experiance, to have something to show when they put things into their portfolio for college. The dedication is as far as the group takes it. Say if someone isnt very dedicated at all, they would be out. Of course, if its their private life and schooling thats getting in the way, I understand, and id tell them to put it on hold on their part untill theyre available. I would note people asking if their available, thats mainly for the designers, and advertising artists. If they are, then i request them to make something, and i ask whats the latest they'd have it done by. If they mention that they were currently busy, i would come back. I know how busy life is, i march in drum corps and marching band so i know how hard it is to balance life over art. If the person IS available however, id give them a week or so, depending on what their making (if its a poster the time will be given longer...maybe a month.) I dont want to keep you all busy heheh, i just want to do this for the experiance, give myself and others something to show for college, and for all to have fun making it, or viewing it...whatever it might turn out to be. Yea, I need to know ways on how to spread it. So far i have an rp chat room lol, this account, and 1 news posting in the news section.

The character designs, going back to the dedication question, would be much needed, but not untill after the story is completely figured out/we have what we need to get started. Note me for anymore info
